New connection application for Solar PV system can be submitted through Online as well as Offline process:

  • You need to visit https://www.wbsedcl.in & go toConsumer Login. After successful Login, you will be able to apply for Solar PV connection from ‘Solar PV Application’ tab. Alternatively, you may visit https://www.wbsedcl.in . Please click here

  • You need to visit concerned site office (CCC/Regional Office) to apply offline.

• Presently for application under KUSUM-C Subsidy Scheme,existing agriculture consumers having minimum connected load of 3.75 KW under below 5 divisions are eligible:

• For Government Subsidy Scheme for Domestic consumers, all consumersunder domestic category are eligible.

• For non-subsidy scheme, all existing consumers of WBSEDCL are eligible.

• For KUSUM-C Scheme:Application fee, cost of Net Meter & Generation Meter and Meter testing fee will be zero.

• For other schemes: it will be as per the Procedure-C.

  • Cost of Net Meter / Consumer meter
  • Cost of Generation Meter
  • Cost of modem
  • Cost of Alteration of service
  • Testing fees of Solar generation meter procured by consumer
  • Testing fees of the Solar PV System Installation

• For KUSUM-C Subsidy Scheme, 40% of the total project cost will also be collected from concerned consumer.

• For KUSUM-C Subsidy Scheme, applied Solar PV installation capacity should be 7.5 kWp only

• For other schemes, it should be as per norms of WBSEDCL.

• For KUSUM-C Subsidy scheme, consumers should have valid Aadhar Number; name of the consumer and name printed in the said Aadhar Card must be same.

• For other schemes, it will be as per norms of WBSEDCL.

Below are the e-payment modes available to the consumers of WBSEDCL:

  • Net-Banking using multiple major scheduled banks / Digital Stored valued e- Wallets / Electronic Bill Presentment and Payment (EBPP)
  • Debit/Credit Cards
  • Bharat Bill Payment System (BBPS)
  • UPI (Unified Payment Interface)/BHIM (Bharat Interface for Money)/Bharat QR Payment System
  • RTGS / NEFT

Applicable transaction fees per transaction is zero in all the digital payment mode.
