The consumers are able to make their payment at any time at their convenience using Web Portal/Mobile App of the Company. The payment can be paid through the following modes:

i) Credit Card
ii) Debit Card
iii) Internet enabled Bank Account
iv) wallet
v) Bharat QR
vi) UPI / BHIM

Easy e-Payment of energy bills at any time from anywhere using Bharat Bill Payment System (BBPS) enabled payment channels like: Internet Banking, UPI, Mobile Wallets, other payment Solution of Financial Institutions etc.
Following are the Mobile Wallets available to consumers of WBSEDCL under this channel:

Integration has been made with e-Pradan of IFMS (integrated Financial Management System) of West Bengal Govt. for payment against energy bill/quotation of Government establishment using RTGS. However to process the energy bill/Quotation payment for WBSEDCL at e-Pradan system, user dept. need not require any bank account particular of WBSEDCL. The said information is already included in that e-Pradan system of Govt. of West Bangal.

For hassle free periodic payment of energy bills directly from bank account of the consumers a new process named NACH has been introduced. "National Automated Clearing House (NACH)" is governed by National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) for the purpose to facilitate interbank, high volume, electronic transactions which are repetitive and periodic in nature. In this process one unique identifier number "Unique Mandate Reference Number" (UMRN) is allotted by NPCI against the Mandates of consumers.

The NACH facility of payment is available to the L&MV consumers of WBSEDCL who have not registered for EBPP mode of payment. Consumers can avail all the rebates including additional e-payment rebate.

Registration in NACH process can be done by submission of "Mandate Form" after logging in wbsedcl.in. through "Consumer Login" page.

In this E-collection procedure all types of customers of WBSEDCL (Bulk and L&MV) under any category (like Domestic, Commercial, Industrial and others) can pay their dues under the heads of Energy Bills, Quotations and Security Deposit through RTGS/ NEFT. Collection for different kind of Deposit Works can also be obtained through this method. There will not be any requirement of preregistration on the part of customers (except consumers paying through PFMS channel); they can pay their dues in the Virtual Bank Account following the below mentioned logic.

Category of Payments Account Nos. to be filled up/ mentioned through RTGS/ NEFT
For payment of Energy Bill

WBB X X X X X X X X X Y Y Y Y

Consumer ID Installation No. (last 4 digits)

For payment of Quotation Amount(New Service Connection & Load Extension Cases)

WBQ X X X X X X X X X Y Y Y Y

Consumer ID Application No. (last 4 digits)

For payment of Security Deposit (Adequacy)

WBS X X X X X X X X X Y Y Y Y

Consumer ID Installation No. (last 4 digits)

For payment of Deposit Work Quotation Amount

Reference ID Application ID (last 4 digits)

For payment of EMD

Hence the length of the VAN will be maximum 16 digits whereas first 3 digits are alphabet, next 9 digits are Consumer ID and last 4 digits are of Application no./ Installation no. The virtual account should not contain any blank space and or any other characters/ special characters. However, during the transition period, the old VANs (containing the Application no./ Installation no. in full) will also continue to work.

In case of payment through PFMS channel the 2nd character of the above-mentioned short VAN structure shall be "P" instead of "B".It may be noted that registration of Short VAN is required on NEFT/RTGS Service Provider (i.e., ICICI Bank) for WBSEDCL prior to initiation of any payment through PFMS channel by the consumer. Consumers should visit concerned Customer Care Centre / Regional Office for the registration.

To know your exact Virtual Bank Account No , please check your Energy Bill or Quotation which ever is applicable.

The IFSC Code “ICIC0000104” should be used for fund transfer activities in these cases.

The aforesaid IFSC code is related to CMS, Branch of ICICI Bank Ltd.

The whole process is integrated with Bank’s system using web-service call procedure and the payment posting for successful transactions has been scheduled automatically. For the failed transactions the bank will return the amount to the respective accounts of the payees wherefrom the amount has been remitted. As per normal procedure all the eligible rebates including special rebate for E-payment will be available to the customers in line with the prevailing rules.

Consumer can make payment at the cash counters of their concerned Customer Care Centres (CCCs).
